Must-see Fireworks Shows Around Panama City Beach

Watching fireworks on the 4th of July is more American than bbq’s, baseball and apple Pie combined. For many people, it’s an annual tradition they take very seriously. If you are trying to decide the best way to keep that traditional alive for your family and friends this year, check out these three great locations:
“Panama City Marina” 9:00pm Show
Rumored to have the largest fireworks display in the area. They will be shooting off fireworks from two different barges this year! This display will light up the sky for miles, and leave any spectator feeling patriotic. The Panama City Marina will be celebrating the birth of our nation all day long starting at 11:00am.
“Pier Park & City Beach Pier” 9:00pm Show
Shopping and Fireworks? Yes! Pier Park is the happening place to be all day long on the 4th of July. There will be live music, family and kids activities and a Fireworks extravaganza that will light up the sky over the pier to end the day.
If you are looking for some food before the fireworks display; we recommend appetizers and insults on the patio at Dick’s last resort or Island themed food and flair at Margaritaville. Both of these places will fill up fast on the 4th because they are positioned directly across from the Pier, giving you a front row seat of the fireworks display.

“Grand Lagoon & Thomas Drive” 8:30pm Show
This area is a little less hectic than the other two areas. Make dining reservations early to ensure the best seating. Captain Andersons, The Boat Yard, J Michaels or off the hook bar and grill would all be great places for a bite to eat and a drink before watching the fireworks.
